When sasuke stabs itachi through a chair(Genjutsu), in the same place hashirama stabbed madara, Itachi said that sasuke had not gone for a lethal blow. If that wasn't lethal, what hashi did to madara wasn't.

I hope this isnt true, because that would make two times madara has been spared by hashirama. And i hate hashirama. he doesent have any reason to have mokuton. He just somehow found out he was really good at growing trees.

Also, madara said he used hashi's cells. probably a prototype Zetsu.
