During Naruto,Killer bee,edo Itachi -edo pain arc,the fight didn't last long but pain was quite the fearsome opponent after Kabuto took complete control over him but that is not the point,the point is that he was sealed with the sword of totsuka by Itachi

This sword has never failed whenever itachi brought it out,but the fact is that edo Itachi is long gone nd the sword is part of Itachi's arsenal so i guess it isn't possible to defeat Madara with it or is it possible to bring back the sword of totsuka?

He probably means Orochiamaru is with Sasuke right now, what Itachi tried to avoid using Totsuka blade.

OT:We have very few knowledge on Totsuka blade. We don't know exactly how it works, how can someone get it or even how Itachi got it. We can only guess. Imo, we won't see it around anymore with Itachi dead. But it might get transferred to someone or get materialized until someone finds it. We can't be sure.

Nagato lost to plot and plot alone.. it's OBVIOUS, he had to be JUMPED by 3 of the top 15 Shinobi in the Narutoverse which include the MAIN CHARACTER who is a perfect Jin, Killer Bee a perfect Jin, and Itachi a MS user with "magical weapons". It's bad enough that Nagato was telling them how to beat him and they still were getting their asses kicked. On top of that, Nagato was being controlled by Kabuto, who didn't know that Nagato was a SENSOR and ultimately screwed him over.

Nagato will always be in the Top 5 along with Madara, Hashirama & Obito.
