Naruto is like rock paper scissors. Kakashi can beat Madara even though Madara could overall be the better ninja. Its just that preconceived notions of the legend deem him unbeatable by anyone else besides Hashi. Look at war arc Kakashi...dude was a monster. He was warping off a Gedo Statue arm with a half blind eye with only a few seconds to react to it. Do you think it is mere coincidence that Kishi did not let the two encounter each other until Madara was Goddara. Kakashi's s speed was so fast that even Obito who uses the damn tchnique and has rinnegan missed it. Kishi knew that he created an attack that could end everything right then and there and that wouild end the manga without Kaguya, BZ, and all that other stuff. Again war arc Kakashi is a monster, Not to mention as far as battle analysis goes no one is better than Kakashi imo.
