You will probably lose interest if you watch it. Just read the manga and watch the anime for the good fights. Reading will take a couple months, maybe 2 or 3 if you're consistent. Not sure about watching, but probably longer.

Depends on how many chapters/episodes you read/watch per day. It's simple math, just find out how many chapters/episodes you can read/watch a day and divide that amount by the current amount of chapters/episodes out currently. That's what I do.

You can watch it online with no commercial or intro's that makes the episodes about 18-22 minutes long. There's 708 episodes Sub 409. So that 708 x 22 = 15,576 minutes = 259.6 hours so 260 hours, that's 11 days of literally 24 hour watching. Dubbed would be 8,998 minutes or 149.967 hours to catch up. If you watched 3 hours a day it would take you 87 days to catch up not counting the 12-13 that would come out while catching up.

Reading is another story depending on how quick you read and how much attention to detail you want to devote.

I just catched up with OP manga some months ago. If you read consistently, it shouldn't take you more than a week.

Not long at all. Don't start it via manga please. You won't even know what the characters actually sound like plus OP chapters are filled to the point where it's hard to even realize what's going on.​

1. Watch anime first up till the timeskip.
2. Then begin manga
3. Then watch the movies "strong world" & "film z "
4. If you have time, watch the special episodes.

All that should take a couple of months if you have a life. I suggest you binge it during holidays or even put an hour or 3 each time aside to catch up. But dw, it will be a most enjoyable ride fo your life,

It took me like 3 weeks to catch up. It depends on the pace you watch the anime. 50 episodes each day will take you 2 weeks?
