How long was the akatsuki an organization?

Starting from when Nagato first summoned the gedo statue during his fight with Hanzo how many years were they an organization? It seems like it would be around ten to fifteen years.

Id say about 20-25 years.
Akatsuki was founded from before the summoning of the statue.
But if your talking about the Akasuki that were basically merks then yes about 15 to 20 years.
