The time between the Chunin exam and sasuke and naruto's fight was roughly 3 weeks maybe if filler episodes were months later lol.
Chunin exam starts episode 24 and sasuke beats naruto episode 135.

No way it could have been more than 6 months. They were entered in the first chuunin exams after about a week and the chuunin exams happen every 6 months.
