How long have you guys been watching/reading Naruto?

Hey guys, I looked to see if this thread had been done before and I didnt see it but if it has then I apologize.

I was wondering just how long most of you have been watching the anime and or reading the manga. And better yet, what is the first lasting memory you have of Naruto? I have been a fan since 2004 back when I was a freshman in high school and a buddy of mine gave me an actual naruto manga to read (you know the ones you can buy in book stores). My brother and I finished it and craved to have more so we read the next two lol. Then about 3 months later a buddy of mine showed me the anime, he had it downloaded with subs, and how to read the current manga online. Well from there I was hooked, I remember watching on the computer until my eyes were sore lol.

So how did you guys first catch the naruto bug? Let me know with your replies!!

2006 I think-I was in freaking middle school lol
