I haven't been able to find it but i thought the same thing.

This has to be the best theory on Limbo i've ever read. Really made me reconsider the technique. I didn't quite liked Limbo, it didn't have that "wow" factor for me, but after reading this, i began thinking of countless possibilities the jutsu may have.

thanks so much i thought the same way until this idea just hit me, i doubt well ever find out if this is what kishi really intended the jutsu to be but I hope it is and if it isn't, well this version makes a pretty cool jutsu anyway

now that madara has returned stripped of his power, do you think that sealed clone will play a role or is it gone

Nice theory , I fully get your point, However the limbos clones does not transfer any injury to the original Madara and that is the only flaw I've seen in your theory .

If it did Madara would have been harmed by the Magnet Rasengan seal + Moon Chidori combo on his clone, which he did not.

I actually addressed in an earlier post how this was possible. In it, I referenced how naruto not only used the magnet rasengan, but also used his truth seeking balls in the form of poles to stick threw the limbo madara, and I believe that because he did this its the reason why that limbo madara didn't return to the original, i always thought it was interesting why naruto went to the extra trouble of sticking the poles into madara if he was already sealed by the rasengan, i believe it was plot purposes as to not defeat madara so quickly
