How Izuna died?

We all know that Izuna give his eyes to Madara or Tobi says likes that.Even though he lost his eyes he can't lose his life.............I meant that with out his eyes he will not go to fight.I really doubt that Madara forcefully tried to took Izuna's eyes and Izuna died. May be When at the time he took of the Izuna's eyes he wouldn't have gone completely blind.

Because when you lose one sense, the others can heighten, meaning to an extent, you wouldn't need eyesight anyway. The best example I can think of is the 3-Tails Filler arc, when Lee ran into that gas where you can't smell or see. Lee shut his eyes and used sound.

Is it really that hard to believe there are blind warriors out there? Do you really think a guy living in a time where being able to fight meant everything would rather sit on his ass and die of old age? F*ck no. It's a pride-thing.
