itachi isnt responsibel for sasukes choices but he definitely set sasuke down the dark path far faster than sasuke should have.

um no. itachi neither knew nor cared who sasuke spent his time with. for all itachi knew, he was pushing sasuke to kill some nobody civilian who bought sasuke a coffee once.
itachi showed he doesnt care at all how many innocents die for his agenda when he ordered obito to leave konoha alone, but offered up the entire rest of the world as obitos new targets in konohas place

sasuke rejected the ideals of madara and obito, not indra. he still thinks he can get things done through power and force to destroy the old system.
telling sasuke about the bloody history of the clan probably caused sasuke to lose even more faith in humanity and accept revenge as his only purpose in life. his next target would have been obito. after that, akatsuki and after that...

he tried to condemn kabuto to eternal mental imprisonment. he never expected kabuto to break it, or even reach the battlefield in time if he did. itachi disintegrated, believing sasuke was still evil, never going to change, hellbent on killing everyone in konoha which marked himself as a failure in the worst way. for all he knows, sasuke has done exactly that.
and for all itachi knew, sasuke cut kabutos funky head off the moment itachi vanished in a fit of rage. tell me again how he "saved" kabuto.
