This is a manga in which red hair is considered very odd, so I doubt the same circumstances apply here.

Hinata doesn't have blue hair. It's just very dark black. That's why it looks abit blueish, I've seen some Arabians that have that effect on their hair.

Sakura is meant to look totally princessish and girlish but is a tomboyish girl. Kishi just liked that I think. She is meant to be cute but turns out to look angry and ugly most of the time. She is also meant to be a cherry blossom that has to find out how to bloom, whatever that means. Plus she looks like a little smartass to me.

I don't get why guys follow her around though. There are more beautiful girls and nobody notices them at all. Why doesn't Ino have any followers. Or Temari or Hinata? Everyone so far fell in love with Sakura.
