How is Sakura the biological mother of Salad?

Can someone please kindly explain to me how it's possible for one to think that Sakura is definitely the biological mother of Salad? I don't see how one can think that.​

1) Why would Karin give up her child, which is also a piece of Sasuke- the man she obsessed over for years if not now as well.

2) We don't know what was actually used for the test. For all we know that could have been something from Sasuke that she has kept in her desk this whole time.

3) Before this whole talk of DNA, all people had to go on were glasses, her eye lashes, and maybe some of her facial expressions. Meanwhile let's look at this.. glasses mean nothing, but it's the only thing similar to these two characters. Eye lashes? Itachi had quite fabulous lashes. Face? Sakura and Sasuke both(through out the whole manga) have made many faces. The child is heavily designed to look as Uchiha as possible. Kishi even stating that she is basically a female Sasuke.

4) Sakura and Sasuke keep referring to each other as husband and wife, why is this being harped on so much? That means they actually have to be married and were together for a period of time before. That means that Sarada still has a chance at being Sakura's biological daughter. Couple this with the fact that kishi seems to be ***** footing it around all of this.. here he had a perfect chance to end the debate and have Sasuke say something, but instead he had Naruto tell Sasuke to STFU and worry about it later. He's trying to build suspense around this even though we just say the supposed 100% true DNA test. Um..?

DNA/Blood or not, Sakura IS Sarada's mother. She's been there every step of the way for her. Right now, who cares if she is biologically her mother? I think it would be more interesting to have Uzumaki/Uchiha so honestly I don't care.. but at the same time I'm tired of this whole debate. Just wait.

Biological Parent= Birth mother/ Gamete Donor

Mother/Father= The one who cared for you


Sasuke's the birth father, but he didn't care for Sarada, just as Karin. Karin's REAL mom is Sakura, but her biological mother, Karin is still her biological mom.



In reality, your biological parents don't matter at all. The ones who cared for you matter. And seeing as Sasuke is somewhat caring for Sarada now, protectively he's gaining a decent Father status.

1. You do know this is nearly 20 years later, right, and Karin was obsessed with Sasuke as a teenager, a lot could have changed.
