I believe she had a sensing feat around the time of the Shinju's appearance.

It's only logical anyway, since Remote Healing requires sending chakra "wirelessly".

Katsuyu is my favorite summon . Never heard of her having sensing abilities . But she can communicate with other pieces of herself .
