How is it that Onoki is still alive in Boruto but Madara died of old age?

As we know Onoki was already old in Naruto Part 2, so how is it that Onoki is still alive despite being old? How come Madara died of old age but not Onoki, heck Madara had to linked to the Gedo Mazo or he would die on the spot immediately.

I wonder can Onoki even fight anymore. We haven’t seen him in any combat after the war.

Relax bro. He is only 95 (and yes I know that this is his age because Ao said a few chapters ago that it has been 16 years since the war, and according to the wiki, he was 79 in part 2). While 95 is technically over the average lifespan (at least in core real world nations such as America) , it is not an impossible age to reach (there are plenty of people in real life who reach that age).

Meanwhile, Madara was most likely over 100 when he died.

Madara is/was older than Oonoki, Madara was a young adult and Oonoki a teen when they fought the first time. Why do you think Madara calls him a brat?
