How is it that Madara released himself but Hashirama could not?

I was thinking that If Madara could free himself why couldn't the others do it?
especially Hashirama when he was summoned by ORO.

Madara couldn't release himself until Kabuto was incapacitated and the jutsu's seal was fading. Oro's seal on Hashirama and Tobirama never weakened so they couldn't just freely perform the seals.

Madara freed himself because he knew the seals to release the Edo Tensei's summoning contract, he couldn't do that earlier because the jutsu was still in play, he couldn't do the seals until it was released.

Hashirama probably couldn't free himself because Edo Tensei wasn't released, it was still in play when he got sealed by the 3rd hokage.

lol this is funny but i think i'll answer ur question. Its very simple they didnt know the hand seals to do wat madara did madara KNEW ABOUT EDO TENSIE BEFORE HE DIED he even said he was the one who taught the user (kabuto) about it. remember when kabuto said he and oro studied madara's body i geusss he wasnt lying my guess is they revived him (edo) an let him told them his secrets! thats how they knew of the moon eye plan.
