How is Gantz?

I hope that there is someone here who has seen this anime.

I want to know your thoughts about this, I'm definitely going to watch this because it looks cool but I want to hear someone's opinion on it first.

This is what I saw on MAL when they were describing Gantz.

Imho to put it bluntly, the anime sucks really bad! U_U
The animation and artwork is poor and reminds me of a cheap version of a cartoon on Cartoon Network. :| Kinda like Ben 10 made by amateurs. Lol It's bleak and lifeless, I stopped watching after 2-3 episodes. I used to read the Manga but stopped for some reason after 180 chapters of reading(not sure why... maybe because my fave character died) :eww:. The Manga is good and prefer it much more than the anime.

PS: I might go back to reading the Manga again. hmm

The anime is terrible, It's one of those things which should be read, the manga is epic tho, it's really serious and gory, characters die left and right, not your everyday "character interrupts...emotional scene....death avoided" ofc as it's a seinen manga.

The anime is not that good. it's short, lacking, just not good. Please read the manga if you get a chance.

Basically I think of it like an original AoT. Basically it is a manga for shock value.


The anime sucks, read the manga as others have said.

Just read the manga like the others said, it has a good art, but ending could be better tho.

I heard that the anime sucks but I've read the manga and can tell you that it's definitely a roller coaster ride of events and amazing mysteries, action, violence, awesomeness up until the last arc. The last arc isn't per say terrible but it doesn't hold up to the rest of the series.

Gantz is easily top 5 seinen for me

Also the art is top notch and purely wonderful, it's a very creative series so give it a shot

Total gory. I read it upto some chapters and felt bored. All they do is come at night and do missions and go back. Every time they go on a mission almost everyone ends up dying. So i thought whats the point of this story..!? All they have to do is earn some points and they will be alive again, is that it..? So i stopped reading. And one more thing the main character is so annoying af in the beginning, total selfish guy and i hate him so much.
