How important is Canon for a bio?

Hi I want to plan to start a Bio. I want to know how important is to follow "Canon"? I started by watching anime and not reading Manga so I want to incorporate some things that only appeared in the Anime but not in Manga. Can I do that?

Yes. But you still need 30 posts to have a bio.

Yes you can do that, and you need 50 posts for a bio, not 30 as CP said.
