Oh yeah, another Hiruzen thread. Horrible, i know. Please, forgive me
This is how i think Hiruzen was like in his prime.
First and foremost. Enma. There has been theorys on here about a possible merge between Hiruzen and Enma, similar to how Kisame merged with Samehada. Now, what do i think this will do for him, besides losing his main weapon, the diamond-hard staff?
This is what i think it will do. (Fan-fic ofcourse, this is just speculation)
It will work somewhat similar to Sage mode, except the senjutsu chakra. I think he would have
- Increased Stamina/Chakra
- An increase to his Strength, his Speed and his ability to react.
- Increase sense of Smell, Vision and Hearing.
- And Enma would be able to remove Genjutsu from him, similar to how a Bijuu can remove a Genjutsu from their hosts.
Unlike Sage Mode, this does not amplify his Genjutsu or Ninjutsu..
So along with this, Hiruzen in his prime had both an advantage, and a disadvantage over Old Sarutobi.
Advantages: Strength, Speed, Reflexes, Chakra levels/Stamina. His fighting style and precision was probably better than old age, considering the remarks of Enma, Claiming that his performance was miserable compared to his prime.
Disadvantages: Less experience and Knowledge.
Just to estimate, i'd like to think that he had around maybe 5-7 times more Chakra in his younger years.
As for fighting style, he was a 5 element user. Even the ''fodder'' shurikens could be deadly if infused with a element, such as Danzo's wind shuriken, or Itachi's flame shuriken.
I'd also like to think that he was well versed in Kage Bunshin, and used multiple clones along with his skill in Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Shuriken's, to defeat several opponents.
Just imagine him making a Doton grave to trap his enemies, filling it with water using Suiton, and then using Raiton to finish the job. Combinations with Kage Bunshin and 5 Elements are limitless.
As for placement on the so called top 10 (ABC logic is horrific)it's hard to say. I'd rank him somewhere along the lines of Minato and Tobirama.
