how i met your mother

i know this isnt anime whatsoever but since i had never seen HIMYM before i decided to watch it and it is a really good show in my opinion, it has comedy, lovable characters, legendary catchphrases(if you watch the show you know what i mean), it has a good plot and writing in my oppinion and it actually shows you what society is like in this times, i even admit that some episodes made say "woow this guys really thought this through".
SPOILER ALERT

My only complain of the series is the finale , i mean c´mon we spend a whole season building up barney and robin´s wedding and in the next chapter they are divorced, i mean all the character development for barney and robin was thrown out of the window, and also the mother dies, the whole series was thought to be built up for this moment but when we finally meet her she dies and ted goes back to robin, i mean that it seems kind of lame that the whole story was told just to ask ted´s kids permission to ask robin out. This is one of this great shows with a sad and kind of evil finale.

Nevertheless i still love the show but i have to admit the finale left a kind of soar feeling. what you guys think?

I always thought the whole barney and robin arcs are fillers for the fans

It had great development,nice and lovely but its clear that it wasn't the author original plan for the plot .

I thought the first 5 seasons were great. After that, I thought it became really really bad. Each season becoming worse than the previous one. 9th season doesn't even exist in my mind xD

Although I like the alternative ending of himym released with the dvd. They should have just gone with this instead:

Alt ending=MUCH better.


I just didn't like how things ended with Barney and Robin. So fast after so much buildup and they got crappy endings. Same for the mom. She was built up to and we all liked her and bam, she's dead and that's depressing.

Only the first 4 seasons were good. The ending was even the worst thing they did.
