How I know Madara is lying.

Madara is saying that he started this war to revive the ten-tailed beast and wants to put the world in an infinite tsukuyomi. There are several flaws that make that plan unbelievable.

1. If Madara was so sick of the world, he could have just put himself in an infinite tsukuyomi and died without trouble.

2. If the planet is in an infinite tsukuyomi, everybody on earth will cease to do anything including eating which means the human race will eventually die off.

3. Madara complained to Obito that he was revived at the wrong time. Why does Madara need to be brought back to life just to be in a genjutsu?

Madara has another goal (most likely world domination).

Any thoughts on this?

1. He wanted everyone to be in the infinite tsukuyomi, not just himself.

2. We don't know the details of the genjutsu. However, in tsukuyomi, we see that Itachi can change the limits of time. one or two seconds becomes 3 days. Infinite tsukuyomi, being infinite, might not have a limit. I think the point is that it lasts forever.

3. He needs to be borught back when the gedo mazou is complete so that they can pull off this plan without trouble.

I think he thinks it would be better for everyone to be in it. The new movie naruto road to ninja takes place in a world were obito successfully cast infinite tsukuyomi on everyone, i cant wait to see it

another plot hole the whole earth isn't always under the moon only parts of it while north maerica may be under a full moon it may just be mourning or even the after noon in japan and as the world rotates the people would eventually be freed, also when madara dies the genjutsu would end
