I done read it a million time. In fact, when the smoke cleared, you don't see susanoo at all. All you saw him getting up and just started to form susanoo and saying that he is lucky that he had it.

Didn't zetsu said Yata mirror blocked all ninjutsu? Sasuke didn't use any ninjutsu after Kirin. It would be pointless to acknowledge Yata mirror at that point if Itachi didn't use it to block Kirin.

Itachi was damaged by Kirin, if he had Yata out woulnd't it block Kirin completely? Or are you saying Kirin got through Yata and still damaged Itachi?

Nope. itachi wasn't damaged at all. Kirin came down from above. So Itachi would've had to raise the yata mirror above his head. The force of the kirin pressured against the yata mirror was strong enough for sick ole itachi to probably lose conscious for a few seconds, which break his focus on keeping the yata mirror and susanoo out.

As the smoke clear, we see him regaining conscious as he get up form susanoo again.

Bar Kurama, all of them can be easily put under Genjutsu and their powers can be suppressed via Genjutsu as well as Sasuke proved with Naruto in early part two. Pretty easily, actually. Chidori Spear easily cut through Hachibi's tentacle as well.

Only Perfect Jins can break Jins out of a Genjutsu, even that isn't a sure shot factor. So, bar Bee and the later BM Naruto - and Yagura - all of them can be defeated by suppressing the Bijuus power with Genjutsu.
