I'm asking this question because I genuinely care(Plus, I'm bored, and feel like discussing a serious topic)



Me,

I'm currently airing out ALL of my demons(deepest, darkest thoughts) in order for my mind to be free and continue with this process of what I call 'Spiritual Awakening'. Also, I've been doing a great job at being positive. I've learned that a positive mindset attracts positive things. Lastly, I've been in college, and I'm trying my hardest to stay mentally/emotionally strong.

What about you?Just air it out...

Well i have a lot of homework and I can't afford gas for the car. the 'rents wont pay for it, even when I get good grades, so i don't try anymore.

I lost a friend after I chose another friend to hang out with last friday. I feel like a douche, just want to take it back.

The GF and I are alright at least, but football gets in the way of Fridays and weekdays so Dates are hard to fit in...


IDK man, its tough...

I feel you man. Me on the other hand, I feel time passes by too fast. I can also see ageing in my face and body. I feel I'm getting old. 24 years old here.

All is well on this side. I find that life is at it's best when you're acquiring currency, and disregarding females. If you heed these two simple rules there is no way you can't be happy.

You could try adopting a hobby, like writing poetry? I started writing poetry,recently, to express myself.

Edit: Ways to keep depression at bay are going outside more, being positive, or being productive.(To keep mind off of negative thoughts)

Where I live, you can't have fun without almost getting killed. It's pretty dangerous and always ending up getting into a fist fight or in the middle of a gang war. I am seeing a doctor btw..

Wrote this in a thread a while back, you should read it.

Not to be rude but a lot of people here are confusing stress/feeling upset with depression. These are two very different things.

I'm currently battling depression myself, and I've recently gotten a lot better to the point where I don't have suicidal thoughts daily anymore, which is something I thought I'd never say. Some of the main things that helped me and may help you are

1. Talking about it. Oh my god, this helped so much. It doesn't matter with who, or where it is, when, etc. The only thing that matters is that you know that there's another person out there in the world who's taking the time out of their day to sit down and listen to you talk and vent your emotions and feelings (or lack thereof). This was huge for me, because this helped mitigate my thoughts of worthlessness/being a bother/etc. because they're doing it voluntarily.

2. This may sound cliche, but changing your negative thoughts into something productive. Personally, I've gotten myself into GFXing and writing. Now, the important thing about doing this is overlooked usually. The thing you want to make sure you do is have someone do it with you, or perhaps have someone who would willingly look/read at what you've made. This gives you motivation to continue doing what you do, this isn't a person you need to know in real life either. It could be here, on narutobase. You seem to write poetry and post it here on the base, and people like it. Make a friend (if you haven't already) with someone else who writes poetry and just talk about it. It's really nice to be able to talk about your hobbies with someone.

3. Changing your routine/daily activities. It may seem like something small or "that wouldn't really work for me", because I had the same thoughts at first, but it had definitely made an impact on my depression. It doesn't have to be something big like getting a job and whatnot, it could be something small. Maybe change up your routine in the shower, or go to the store and shop for something, anything, something small, just because. Just to do something new for once, or something different. It could be a pack of gum, it doesn't matter, just do something.

I really want to stress the first two points because those made more of an impact on my depression than the later. If you have the slightest interest in something, pursue it. See if you really do like it or not, maybe you could make a career out of it, or get a fanbase, or just, you know, something. Talk to a friend, open up, **** social stigmas, they're annoying.

Good for you. Consider moving or seeing friends more often. Being safe comes first I guess...

Reminds me of the hometown in D.C. A very negative environment.

You need to move out of that place(When you can)...and be more positive.

I've been feeling pretty bored and there's absolutely nothing I look forward these days...it's been quite monotonous, I don't help my case being idle. I'd like to go out and see something interesting...sad thing is I live in such a shitty place. It could be worse tho. Meh...I need money to have fun.
I'm struggling with forming habits, and I get highly frustrated if something doesn't go as I want. Sometimes I lol at it because it took me years to form my current behavior patterns xd Why destroying them would take less time? XD
Guess I'm a bit too negative, but it's always a relief to annoy other ppl with my complaints XD

To me,

females are people you invest time in, when you actually have time for it.

The drama of relationships can be difficult.But some relationships can be a blessing. You have females that can keep you organized, fed, and secure. Some of them can keep you focused on whatever goals you're trying to achieve.

The average chick from where I live acts like a groupie. Always travelling in groups, clinging to the most 'popular', and craving attention. Hopefully they'll learn about what truly matters in life.
