How Hashirama got wood style

Anyone wounder why Hashirama's the only person to get wood style(cell implants don't count)? I don't think it's related to genetics, but his chakra itself, which is why Tsunade never inherited it. Why do people with cell implants get it then? It's because body pieces can contain chakra as seen when Kinkaku and Ginkaku gained Kurama's chakra by eating his flesh.


So how did he get it and no one else? I think it's a side effect of Sage Mode. Here's why.


1. Tobirama talked about teaming up with SM Naruto was like teaming up with SM Hashirama. He talked about it as if they teamed up with that combination often.

Let me ask you this question. Why would Hashirama rely on FTG if he could use wood style? It doesn't matter if you're near or far away with wood style. It doesn't work well with FTG at all. So he must have gotten SM first.


2. Sage Mode is taking natural energy and mixing it with chakra. The Juubi's already been confirmed to be filled with natural energy, and it produces chakra.

I have a feeling that after time of using sage mode, Hashirama's chakra began to imitate the juubi, which is why it takes a wood form. It's intimating the god tree. It got to the point that even his normal chakra can use wood style. This is also why he can control bijus. His chakra is the same as the thing that created them. Since it's a result of natural energy, it's hard to control.


3. The reason why Naruto doesn't have it yet despite being a true sage is because he hasn't used it long enough for it. Either that, or he hasn't mastered SM on Hashirama's level yet.

He is not the only one, zetsu and yamato has it, while you may say well they have hashirama cells, Kishi made the wood style to be unique for hashirama just like rasengan for naruto, there is lots of wind users that could be able to use rasengan but Kishi made it unique for naruto just like wood is for Hashi

All the people you listed had his cells. It may be nature transformation, but there's almost certainly a connection between the tree god and Hashirama.

Really it has to do with plot. Madara was the first to get EMS, so Hashirama had to have something to match him. Madara got the eye/budding flower of the tree, and Hashirama got the wood.

If anything, naruto will not have wood style. Wood style is like yamato said an advanced element formed from water and earth just like haku has ice style. Remember, it might be similar to kimimaru's unique bone abilities which appear extremely rarely in his clan. Hashirama is most probably the same.
