How happy are you?

I am curious about how people identify their own general happiness at this point in their lives so here goes nothing. Do you consider yourself a very happy, happy, neutral, unhappy, or very unhappy person at this point in your life?

You can think of this as a zero to ten scale. The poll is anonymous but if you are willing to post here on your account, tell us your age too because I am curious to know if younger people are happier than older people or vise versa.

Age: 16 (17 in 17 days lol)

I consider myself happy because I am born into an era of being able to get pretty much anything you could want, and into a family that is somewhat financially stable and loving too. I might be happier in a few years when I can live for myself and work for my own things. I am also generally happy because I know what I'll do in life and how I can do it. But sometimes I wish I could have more of a means to accomplish those things, because struggling in a world all about money isn't easy and my family has done it for a long time, but right now things are more stable. But I still appreciate life for what it is

Out of 10 I guess I'm a 5.5 to 6. Can't say I'm necessarily happy as such. if were to fully explain why I feel like this, I would write too much so I'd rather not. In a nutshell, Im worrying about the future and what I want to do with my life. Living up to my own expectations and the expectations of those I care about. Now days even the things that made me happy in the past don't necessarily make me happy anymore. I don't know I guess its just a period in my life which will one day pass.

I'm a 10, I couldn't be more grateful to be living in a time like this. Having a strong healthy body/mind, a loving family, no significant problems in a peaceful country where I have clean water, abundance of food and alot of support from family and friends. I do have hopes and dreams for the future but that is irrelevant to the present moment. Today is the best day for me, the greatest time to be in.
