How good is katekyo hitman reborn?

I've seen a lot of pictures of the main character and he looks pretty awesome. I've quit watching anime except for HxH and just read manga's now so I was wondering if the manga version is any good if they even have one? Also what is the main objective and plot of the story

This. Tsuna is a wimp in "base" form but when he ... never mind I wont spoil it but he's very good when he fights. It's one of my favourite anime.
