How good is Inuyasha? Should I finish it?

I only saw a little bit on tv when it aired on YTV in english dub and knew a little of the story. I'm also aware there is something called The Final Act? Should I finish the series? Is it worth it? Was it any good to you guys? BTW I love the intro cause it used sound effects in it and the music was great!
