In terms of fighting ability, considering all the techniques they could learn, all the improvements they could realistically go through (intelligence and otherwise), all the abilities they are bound to have access too, all the teachers they are likely to have, and all the peers that would help them develop...
...how do you see the original rookies in a fight beyond chapter 700?

How do you think the rookies would have developed as they all became Jounins and beyond?

Peers: Naruto, Shikamaru, Sasuke, Ino, Sai
Techniques: Water and Earth Release tech
Weapon: Chakra Spear (or Metal Bar)
Fight Style:
Sakura would utilize her spear/bar to more effectively focus her attacks, while also improving her range by a meter or two. The focused tip of the weapon would allow her to focus her attacks on a much smaller surface, and reach protected targets past obstacles, making her much more deadly by default.
She would also utilize water and earth attacks, and would use these attacks, often as a build up to alter the battlefield in her favor - slowing down enemies, and stunts like pushing them up or towards her with earth release so that she'll have an easier time landing hits.
Sakura has the intelligence to utilize her 3 abilities in sequence for deadly attacks, so I see these to be a possibility.
Peers: Naruto, Shikamaru, Sasuke, Ino, Sai

Tech: Lightning Release Tech, Shadow Clones
Fight Style:
Hinata would use her bow with her byakugan to strike opponents at their weakest spots from a distance. In mid-range, she'd put away her bow, and resort to Air Palms with up to 3 Shadow Clones for powerful Air Wall Palms.
In close quarters, she'd always have at least 1 shadow clone to back her up. In addition to covering her blind spot, the clone would team up with her in attacks, meaning that she can initiate killer moves like 64 palms much more often, even against stronger foes.
Hinata would also incorporate Raiton into her Gentle Fist, give her crowd-control abilities like staggering, stunning and paralyzing opponents with her strikes. She would also use this ability with her bow for Raiton arrows.

Tenten would utilize a more interesting variety of ninja tools, particularly those with special effects like poison, smoke bombs, and incendiary effects. Training from Temari and Shikamaru allowed her to alter her battle movements, and lets her counter opponents from much closer ranges.
She would also use fewer items at a time, but much more efficiently, and with trick items incorporated to catch almost any opponent off guard. She was already in line to be a very interesting ninja, and a couple simple realistic developments would have made her awesome.
