How fast was Shisui Uchiha?

He was worldly renowned for his Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker), an similar technique to Raikage Ay's Body Flicker (To dodge Amaterasu) and Minato and Tobirama's Hirashin (Which is constantly mistaken for Shunshin).

So...was Shisui a speedster too?

During his time and for being an Uchiha, probably. But can he compare to the current speed feats of characters now? Probably not. He wasn't even fast enough to stop Danzo from getting his eye, by that logic Danzo's speed>Shisui's speed.

Itachi also was his best friend and we've seen him use body flicker. I would even go as far as to say that Itachi is probably more proficient than Shisui at it due to probably improving on it and picking up pointers. (Itachi and Gai are also the only ones in the databook that have a 5 for base speed.)

Also, we'll never know much about Shisui, considering he was more of a plot device in the manga and his part is over. We are just going to see him in fillers and other non-canon material like the games.

He's my second fav after Itachi. I like Shisui better than Maddy, Obito, and Sasuke. Please don't take what I said offensively, it was not mean to be an insult to his character. Itachi learned from him and is pretty proficient in body flicker technique, so I doubt it. But obviously a 13 yr old Itachi would be slower than him. I just don't see Shisui being faster than the 17/21 yr old Itachi we saw. That and Tobirama's fast mainly due to FTG (he's fast in base speed to, but other characters outclass him in that regard), which Shisui lacks.

And yes, if Shisui was in root then it is highly possible that Danzo used seals to hinder him. But I feel that is not the case because if he could use seals to affect Shisui to that degree, I doubt he would have escaped and Danzo would have managed to take his other eye. Danzo probably had his guards and other men with him though.

That logic is horrendous-unless we SEE what went down in the fight, we can't conclude anything. For all we know, danzo ambushed him with the help of some root members when he wasn't kneading chakra.(and knowing danzo, that's probably what he did...)
