Guy needed the 6th gate to blitz Kisame. With his 6th gate open, he was creating flames through air friction, something only achievable by being multiple times faster than sound.

I'm not up to date with 7 deadly sins so I can't accurately judge, but that's probably true from what I have seen. I was just surprised people thought someone like Kisame is slower than sound.

Im not sure, fastest person Kisame has fought was Gai and and during their fights Kisame was always blitz the moment Gai unleashed Gates. Besides 8 gates Gai is arguably slower than Meliodas, especially current Meliodas. So in conclusion, a serious Meliodas would blitz Kisame before he makes a move.



There was a brief moment before the attack broke the sound barrier, that she had time to prepare for, not to mention Chiyo knows Sasori very well, she could have simply anticipated it. Shielding against an attack that you see your enemy preparing to use is different than reacting to it through pure speed.

but she didnt activate her chakra shield or whatever its called before the attack started moving,it shows she activated and at the same time protected sakura from it

meliodas was only said to be faster than sound,no specific calc,he is still slower than lightning,kisame can atleast react

He was said to be faster than sound in his nerfed state. His power level at that moment was 3370. His current level with his powers returned is now 32,500. Do you see that? At about 10% of his power, he was faster than sound, imagine his speed now. That's my point.

You dont have to have speed to read hand movements, sure she needs to have some speed to react to his next movements, but not speed of sound level. The sand was not going at the speed of sound the entirety of the time, the initial attack required acceleration. In which she could have reacted against.

Either way Chiyo was not facing Meliodas, Meliodas's speed is levels above what Sasori threw out, Kisame just gets blitz either way
