[Discussion] How far will the Obito flashbacks go?

I was think about this today and is Kishi just going to show us up to a little bit after Rins death or are we going to see Obito attack the leaf and the whole back story with him in Akatsuki. What do you all think?

7? more like 2.... after the next chapter it will tie in with him manipulating the 4th, "starting" akataski, fighting minato, then we will bounce back into the story. all we need to know at this point is how rin dies and then after that obito decides he wants in with his plan after all. and thats all there is to it. unless kishi does not wrap up rins death in this entire chapter

I think he might explain most of it, but Kishi is smart enough to always keep a few burning questions unanswered, so it could be that the flashbacks end with a cliffhanger... Or even better/worse, a plottwist.

I dont know about 2. Kishi spent so much time on Kabuto that I would have to think he would do the same if not more for Obito. I mean we all have been waiting so long to fin out who Tobi was and now that we do we have to get a lot of back story on it all. Just my opinion though even though I wouldnt mind getting back to the story as soon as like 3 more chapters.

I hope they go on for awhile. They do have a fair amount to explain. Like how Rin dies, Obito starting the Akatsuki, Fighting Minato, where Black Zetsu is, his plan that him and Madara make.
I say no less than 4 chapters.

I'm completely ignoring everything the masked man has done and for it to connect to the plot i just care about the present story where sasuke is going, how obito vs kakashi and gai is going to be, how naruto is gonna get out of the dimension, and what is going to happen next. all i needed to know was how obito survived for it to make sense. and well obito survived cause of madara case closed. kabuto flashbacks potentially will be longer than this if not one chapter less which makes me soooooo mad. kabuto was not that important.

Yeah it sound like most people are thinking about another month left of flash backs. I really dont mind them as long as we get to see plot holes filled by Kishi.

I agree that Kabutos was way to long for his character. But theses flashbacks are important for right now. We all need some back story. It how Kishi will set up the fights you are looking forward to. It will make the fights with kakashi and Guy vs Obito and Naruto and Bee against Madara even more meaningful. With a good back story Kishi will draw us in even more. Not only that but I really want to see where Sasuke is going and who he wants to meet with Oro as well. But if we get to see Obito side of the murdering of the Uchiha it would explain a lot more on that side of the storyline.

I wonder if kishi will show how obito becomes so strong. If he shows the training by madara id say another 3-4 chapters at least. Personally id like it to be even less than that. I wanna see wtf naruto will do against edo madara.
