[Discussion] How far behind is OP's anime from the manga?

I don't think it's very far behind. They're both like... a 2/5 star rating, so it's not far at all?

I don't follow the anime but I know its around the point where sabo appears. The manga is just about done with Dressrosa so the anime is probably a good few months behind (assuming its the usual rate of 1 episode per week) I'd imagine 2 at the very least. But OP anime pacing can be anything from slow to "paint drys faster than this plot is progressing" so it could easily be longer.

The next OP otta be the one where Law eats the ope-ope fruit in his back story, which is chapter 766 in the manga. Manga is currently on 796. So right around 30 chapters.

Coincidentally, One Piece chapter 766 was released the same week that naruto ended on chapter 700. Its the one with the cool first page where Luffy is eating ramen with Naruto
