how exactly did minato observe the bijuu dama

from what we know the only times minato ever faced a bijuu was when he fought against obito and even then kurama only used it once and and he died after wards, and when he fought B but at the time b wasnt able to use the bijuu dama that im aware. so i think he must have faced another bijuu or jinchuriki at somepoint before his fights with b and obito.

I think you're reffering to his creation of rasengan... Kushina was the Nine tails jinchuuriki perhaps they were together when Kushina unleashed some of the Nine tails power by accident or purposefully... IDK if Kushina could control Kurama the way Naruto can but I don't think so, but it is still likely that the seal was weakened from time to time and the nine tails power came out occasionally

wrong he already had rasengan at that time so he didnt develop it in an hr as we seen jman show him he could use it as well and minato died they day your referring to so def seen a tbb b4 then
