how does this new guy's eye tech work?

if this was the case he should just touch a mountain and dump it on naruto/sasuke
i dont see the connection that makes the sword hit naruto?

He moved Onion Head with his eye to block the fireball.

He controls weapons, sage tools would make him better. Seems to be telekinesis though since he moved shin (via his weap he was holding) into sasuke's fire ball. Kishi probably should explain his ability more.

Since all sharnningan abilities are basically either the advanced form of something or they are watered down versions of a rinne sharnningan technique or a rinnegan technique, the eye has two abilities to mark and then control the weapons through sheer will, sort of like how deva path can control magnetic forces and do about the same thing, shin's ability just allows him to control weapons by marking them even allowing them to telekinetically hover in mid-air for further assistance, however all techniques have a weakness, shin most likely is limited to just metal objects and it seems that the metal objects must be in his peripheral range in order to use them as if they are out of sight then the technique fails, which could explain why he has sharnnngans all over himself as an extension of his sight to keep his technique in maximum efficiency.
