How does the ultimate ninja series hold up?

I got all 5 of them on ps2 recently for like $25, are they still worth firing up.
I remember really enjoying part 2 back in the days, but I can't remember that much about it. I also remember really hating part 1 though.

So anyways which ones should I play?

I prefer to play part 5 if all the part doesn't have any story connection

3 was the best for sure! 5 is nice because of the characters

3 and 5 are undoubtedly the best of the Ultimate Ninja series. I find them more enjoyable than Storm sometimes.

I only played up till the Sasuke vs Naruto one.

The third I believe.

I'll play Ultimate Ninja 3 first then.
Is part 2 still worth it, I remember really liking it when I played it all those years ago.

A gaming magazine I read a few years ago stated that Ultimate Ninja 1 has a 200+ hour of gameplay, so don't count it out yet (crappy as it may be).

3 is the best for me.

4 broke on me while I was at a cave as Naruto...

Okay I'm about to fire up part 3 right now.
I'm really tempted to start up part 2 for old times sake, but its probably really outdated and I don't want to shatter the memories of how much I enjoyed it.

Is there any reason why people recommend 3 and 5, but never part 4?
