How does the Nue scaling work?

We have seen the Nue at multiple sizes, and multiple power levels, ranging from the Nueling that Sumire currently summons, through the moderate size that was summoned at the rooftop, to the massive size version that was summoned outside Konoha, and in the alternate dimension.


That brings me to the point of the thread. It seems logical that Nue grows proportionally to the chakra harvested/stored by Sumire (probably in her seal). If so, could it be comparable to the Yin Seal used by Sakura and Tsunade?

What do you guys think about these parallels, and could they mean that the developers of Sumire's seal may have drawn inspiration from Mito's seal the same way Tsunade did?

The seal on Sumire's back broke that's why Nue is way smaller he is no longer in that seal since it's gone. he's now in her palm smaller in size because the seal is absent

As I understand, the seal allowed Sumire to summon Nue in the first place, it being from an alternate dimension (thus Sasuke's interest in it)

When it was defeated, the seal retracted, but instead materialized in her palm, where it currently resides. There's nothing to state that she can't store chakra in the new seal, the way she did before.

Maybe it isn't. Do you think maybe it is an related development to the Yin Seal, though, seeing as how they were both developed in Konoha, with similar functions?

Exactly! It seems to get stronger with more chakra, exponentially even (seeing as the ones whose chakra was stolen couldn't possibly be directly proportional to the massive power scaling Nue displayed)
