[Discussion] How does the Hyped version of Prime Hiruzen match up with the best.

How would he match up against Hagaromo?


Keep in mind, by having all Konoha techniques, he would have the following.

Rikudo SM, Gudodama, Bijuu FRS, Sasuke teleportation swap, 8th gate, Rikudo DMS Kamui, PS, Shinsushenju, Koto, FTG, etc....


Having Naruto's healing means Prime Hiruzen would be in 8th gate with no time limit. His space time techniques would make him un-hitable.

He could also spam Izanagi since Naruto's healing will just restore the eye, like it did Kakashi's.


I think the Hyped Version of Prime Hiruzen, wether fanfic or not, would give Hagaromo a run for his money.

And... those things you mentioned aren't included in the techs he knew. Tailed Beasts aren't Konoha property so he can't claim those techs or any that require tailed beast support, he can't use sharingan techs, he can't use 8 gates and he sure as hell can't use swap.

Manga facts: He knows ALL Konoha techniques.

Does Hiruzen have a rinnegan, byakugan, sharingan, or other Kekkei Genkai? That is obviously a no, so we can subtract all those from his jutsu set. This means that full-power Prime Hiruzen was likely a match for almost all people except the previous hokage and Minato. You need to take out basically everything you listed additionally if you want to have the "real" Prime Hiruzen. Otherwise, you are basically saying "if Hiruzen had the power of Hagoromo, he'd be a match for Hagoromo." This is a blatant troll and simply stating that he really wasn't that powerful at his prime. Either that or you really think that he was able to perform all of these techniques, just because a Konoha ninja has used them. Trust me, he would have used wood release as an edo if it was available to him at all. He would also have used susanoo as an edo if it was available to him. This just means that Prime Hiruzen was bascially the pinnacle of non-bloodline ninja. It could be assumed that he had FTG, though I personally doubt it, since Tobirama seems to be the more powerful ninja.

This is a silly question, but I'll humor it really quick. I don't believe Kishi knew where he had planned on the manga going when he created the nickname "the professor" and said he had all of konoha's techs. I just don't see it. I can see that he has all the elemental jutsu and a large variety of jutsu we may not even know about. But as stated above, he doesn't have any dojutsu and he'd basically be facing these chakra monsters and different type of chakra with Hagomoro only by using elemental chakra and some fancy summonings. Not only that but i don't think he would have lost to orochimaru without trying something else that he knew even if he had thought his old age would have limited him. It was impressive that he held his own at that age vs oro and his edo kages but he would have been chopped liver if minato came out and he was well aware of that. I don't think even in his prime age was he stronger than the other hokage. Just my opinion
