How does Sage Mode help one Fight Genjutsu

No it's just the fact I haven't seen anything to support him mastering SM. Like I said perfecting the transformation doesn't' make you a master at SM it just mean he perfected the transformation.

Especially when he consider the fact he had to use Juugo's cell to gain SM.

Because there is not evidence he mastered it.

All genjutsu works by controlling the chakra in one's head. The only exception is IT. SM gives the user access to 2 different chakra. If they are placed in a genjutsu they could access the chakra not being control and inject it into the chakra being controlled. If Kabuto was a master at SM he would have used that method to counter the genjutsu.

1st that is only your hypothesis, no one has done that in Canon, meaning its fanfic
2nd that method in itself doesn't make sense because all in all its just the same standard method that Jiraiya taught Naruto. If a genjutsu were to inhibit Naruto from using that method then there is no reason to believe that using senjutsu chakra would work any different.

I don't see anybody fulling mastering a jutsu they just learn. He gain SM right before the war. He even forgot SM gives him horns and he forgot to take that into account when he was dodged Itachi's attack -

- A master wouldn't have made such a careless mistake.

It's called being careless and arrogant which is due to him obtaining even greater power which is something Itachi emphasized before Itachi even reunited with Sasuke. Gaining too much power makes one arrogant. Go figure.

He still mastered Sage Mode due to Kabuto's affirmation and Itachi never denied it.
