*waves hello*

I want to ask that how does Orochimaru's body possession work? (In detail please)

Also if Orochimaru somehow got Sasuke's body, then maximum time-duration that he can keep Sasuke's body is 3 years. Am I wrong, please clarify.

No, Hashirama's cells can create whole new eyes (either rumor or true) from what I've heard (don't really go on rumors but he got rinnegan so I am right I assume...)

It deff doubled his life span probably to forever.

He transfers his soul to the vessel (body) similar to how a living sacrifice is needed to take on a deceased soul Edo tense revived

Edit : He also stated in part 1 that the vessels he used before are not good enough to store his spirit, that is why he needs to change his body every so many years, he believed Uchihas are a good vessel for him to fully posses a body to its full extent and not need changing his body

If your words are taken, the next immediate questions appears: "Why do he need a new body every 3 years, according to some latest threads?" and "Does his regenerations weakens the borrowed body?"

If body strength is such an issue, he should take the body of an Uzumaki.

I think it's more because he wanted the Sharingan.

But yeah, it's pretty much what Kotori said.

I remember this when I started watching the anime. You have to dig deep into the beginning of part one Naruto where Orochimaru appearances were very often. You can probably find him restating that on the fight against Hiruzen where he reveals to have achieved immortality.

If body strength is such an issue, he should take the body of an Uzumaki.

Yes, that is way more logical, but there were no living Uzumaki's that were compatible with him. Karin is a girl and weak for his taste, Nagato was crippled and his Six Paths were stronger than Orochimaru at the time I guess, Kushina died. Orochimaru has shown to have a big obsession with blessed eyes and Kabuto mentioned during the war that he needed the body of a young Uchiha to experiment the secrets of Ninjutsu and Hagoromo's Rinnegan.

Yeah, I didn't think of that. The only available Uzumaki(besides Karin) is Naruto, but I don't think he could have taken his body, because of Kurama.

Also his obsession with the Sharingan is very clear.

Thanks for clearing that up.
