How does one simply get their own anime or cartoon??

I have a story.

What more do i need.

It's more than than drawings, characters, and a story. You would also need more people and peer review. Best thing to do is to open a blog website such as tumblr or blogspot. From there on, you can post up your work.

Edit: Anime or cartoon? You would need a hell load of funding and support. It's a very complicated and long process.
