The latest manga has Kakashi landing in Obito's dimension of blocks and white space. How is this place useful for traveling great distances in the real world? I remember a chapter where zetsu apologizes to Obito for being late because "I can't travel at the speed of light like you." Do the blocks correspond to places in the real world? Is time stopped there? I don't think time is stopped cuz in the latest manga Kakashi and Naruto are acting in conjunction so time seems to move the same in both worlds.

the whole teleportation aspect hasn't really been explained very well thusfar. Obviously it's a S/T technique in conjunction with Kamui-shifting into and out of the separate dimension, but there's some missing details concerning how he travels.

He can teleport anywhere inside Kamui and come out the other side. If I remember right it's supposedly even faster than Zetsu's Mayfly Technique.

That's a good question.
Time is obviously not stopped in the other dimension, since Kakashi beating Obito on the other side happened simultaneously with Obito spitting blood in the normal dimension.
