true this is right even though he shouldnt have to think about it.. this rasengan looks a lot different so that could explain why it took him a while to figure out what it was.

Yes, kabuto did get pwned by the rasengan, but he's a medical ninja and does a lot of self healing, if he hadn't healed himself he would have been fatally wounded or incapacitated, it was a true rasengan that he got hit by. I think it was also infused with a little fox chakra as well, not to sure on that though.
