There are people who buy the manga instead of going online for it, and I imagine that the people who translate and stram the manga online buy it too.
Plus he probably gets royalties from Shonen Jump and the anime

Kishi doesn't release manga on net. It's published in a weekly magazine Weekly Shonnen jump along with some other mangas. sopme fans scan these manga pages from the WSJ and clean and translate.

You get it for free because of such manga fan communities who mostly volunteer to work on it and let you read it for free.

well their are many fans like my self who actually buy the manga volumes and he will get money from actually working for jump and the anime and merchandise goes towards it as well
