Alot of people dont seem to realize FTG is a S/T barrier. you just dont or cant see it.

Here's the definition giving for it.

"To activate this technique, the user places a special seal or "technique formula" (術式, jutsu-shiki) to mark an intended destination. After this is done, they can at will enter a dimensional void that instantaneously teleport them to the location of the seal"

So how come when Obito was about to warp away Minato, his FTG was somehow not affected by Obitos Kamui warp?

FTG is literally a dimensional void just like Kaguyas Yomotsu Hirasaka.

The only difference is FTG dimensional barrier is invisible unless he warps something away then you'll notice it like he did with Kuramas TBB.

Im confused it just doesnt make sense. Kamui shouldve affected Minatos FTG barrier.

Kishi can pick and choose when and how Kamui affects S/T based techniques lmao??

I always thought kakashi just kamuid the rod, kaguyas portal just closed while the distortion from kamui was still visible, that's how I took it.(plus that's how it looks in the anime iirc)Also, kakashi has dms in your scan, which has already been proven to warp faster than a single kamui, so it makes sense considering ftg is instant that minato was able to get away, coupled with the fact that obito admits he stalled on warping him right away in that scan. To your original point tho, I don't think kamui warped her portal, but the bone coming out, the portal just happens to close, I could be wrong though

Because Tobi was warping Minato and not the barrier itself. He said he was going to do it immediately next time but Minato didn't give Tobi the chance to use kamui again.

That or Tobi needs to warp the formula so that Minato cannot enter this "dimensional void."

It has to deal with the speed at which the teleportation takes place. Ftg can set up its barrier much faster than Obito can warp with Kamui or Kaguya can send something through a hole in space

FTG wouldnt be a space time tech if it didnt warp space time buddy. U sir have been soled.
That's not Hiraishin you clown. :lol That's a derivative of the original jutsu that creates a barrier. No barrier is made when Minato teleports. That's more of your fanfiction.

I literally posted the definition of FTG lmao. In case you didnt read it.

Enter a DIMENSIONAL VOID. Lol how is that hard to understand

FTG isn't a barrier lol...
FTG given definition. "To activate this technique, the user places a special seal or "technique formula" (術式, jutsu-shiki) to mark an intended destination. After this is done, they can at will enter a dimensional void that instantaneously teleport them to the location of the seal"

Says nothing about a barrier. You don't need to create a barrier to enter a dimensional void. So again, your thread makes zero sense.

Your forcing yourself not to understand lmao. You know when I say barrier I'm not talking about a barrier in the sense of a wall or gate. But a barrier in the sense that something you warp through.

You're thinking of the wrong type of a barrier

Flying Thunder God doesn't use a barrier, and even if you want to believe that it does, it was used after Kamui was, meaning it is the one that affects the latter, just like Kamui used after Yomotsu Hirasaka allowed for it to affect the latter.

I know exactly what barrier you are talking about, and Hirashin was never implied to create one. Hiraishin's workings are the same as Summonings. "Entering a dimensional void" doesn't automatically mean the a portal has to be made. Maybe if the Hiraishin user wasn't crossing spaces in the same dimension, but in different dimensions you'd have a reason to assume that a portal is needed.
