How does Izanami work??

Yes, i know the chapter is not out yet, and we only have spoilers, but i don't really understand how it works. Can someone explain it to me?:shrug:

I just skim read the latest chapter, i havent figured it out yet apart from the fact that itachi has the opponents destiny in his hands and its up to the opponent to decide it. I get back to you when ive read it thoroughly and digested it

from what it looks like, izanami traps its victim inside an endless loop. In other words, the victim keeps repeating the same move over and over again. From the moment izanami activates, it records a scene and keeps repeating it with no end. In this case it was itachi swinging his sword at kabuto and cutting his horn. Its an endless genjutsu.

As to how this is going to make kabuto stop the edo, i do not know. Will have to wait for the next chapter.

Something tells me that there's more to Izanami than just playing a certain scene over and over again. Otherwise Itachi wouldn't have cast it.

The question is, how will it stop the Edo Tensei?

A loop. Similar to Izanagi Whenever Kabuto attacks Itachi it's an illusion, but any attack Kabuto receives is reality. It eventually starts back over and Kabuto is stuck in an illusion within an illusion of what's happening.

But in reality he's just standing still (as seen at the end of the chapter)

i think .. he is trapped for eternity in a conscience where he is fighting itachi.. but in reality itachi is having coffee xd .. may be this is what he means by loop.. the recorded tape will play forever and ever in which kabuto thinks he is the hero and is killing itachi

It's like the "algorithmic" in maths, more like a program : see it's like the loop " While " eventhough i feel like a nerd when i say it : but here :

in the Loop while : the mathematical operation goes in a loop until a certain condition is realised :

so the condition in which Kabuto is trapped is still unknown : but i believe that the algorithmic is like this :
While you don't tell me the Edo tensei's weakness the scene you saw goes in a loop ! # my interpretation

the surprising thing is even the damages done to kabuto were undone too. Remember how his horns came back even though he knew they were cut.

Thanks for the reply. I've just realised the chapter was already out, so i've read it and understand a little bit that the jutsu makes you repeat a scene over and over, but what i mean is "how does Izanami takes effect on the victim?" I mean, Itachi probably did something that made Kabuto falling in it, right?

yea ...and its in god of war 2 too .....you see one man is hanged above the fire of Olympus and one bird comes and eats his intestine and after that it again grows back ...so to end that curse he tells kratos to kill him ......i think it will be the same ..unless someone kills kabuto which would end izanami
