How does Hiruzen actually defeat Kakashi?

You might disagree, but I actually don't see him being exhausted as an excuse for not doing well. Most (if not all) high ranked shinobi wouldn't have been tired doing what Kakashi did, especially not Kages. Lack of stamina might be the only prominent weakness that Kakashi has which will show when he's fighting someone like the Third Hokage.

But as we've seen in the latest manga chapters, Kakashi's stamina has increased. Hes been fighting for days, leading his unit as commander and helping them take down the 7 ninja swordsman of the hidden mist, and now facing off Tobi. He's now used Kamui 3 times, in addition to shadow clones, Raiden and considering his Sharingan drains chakra on its own. This isn't the same Kakashi that fought Kakuzu (along with 3 hearts and Hidan might I add).
