Hashi is the one who founded Konoha,he lived in the first era of shinobi,Itachi was not even born on that era. How can Hashi know him ? coz' in e ch. he said to sasuke,your brother itachi, is a better shinobi than me .. a plot hole ??

Well he knew about itachi from when sasuke updated him on what his brother did for the village. Sacrificing his brethren and staying loyal to the very end for konoha.
