Of course all lives matter, but mostly you can blame the media for blowing this up. Several people from several racial groups are shot by cops, and while blacks are shot in a disproportional amount to other races, we have to remember that thanks to our country's racist past, people will get heated the **** up over this type of stuff. The riots are simply not helping anyone, infact they're a setback. While the shootings are wrong, tearing shit up and meeting violence won't solve anything. The problem will only continue until a calm and peaceful movement that seeks to open dialogue steps forward and garners a movement that all people can fall behind. I agree that the way police operate in America should probably be changed as they're basically a gang of roving thugs who could shoot you if they feel paranoid.
Where are these people when young black men are killing other young black men? Where is the news report for the mother's who have their sons taken at the age of 25 or younger? Why isn't that treated as a serious problem? Where is the sympathy for those who struggle here in America on a daily basis? Why doesn't the news shine a light on those living in poverty? Is the American public too distracted with Pokemon GO, the Walking Dead, and mindless Twitter posts to know that black on black crime is more common than police shootings? Is the American public so sensitive that they need to be sedated 24/7? In 2011 alone, half the homicides were of black on black crime. Now before someone quotes this with some retarded ass racial shit, crime is directly correlated to poverty. And most homicides are interracial. So why isn't this in the news media? What about the actual living conditions of prison? Do we simply not care for criminals? Don't American's realize you go to prison to get rehabilitated, learn a lesson, and get back out into the world, not be a animal for a set amount of years? Where is the movement asking how we reduce our incarceration rate?

There is no race war, but only a class war here in America. This is only a distraction from the fact that schools in inner-cities are underfunded, not paid attention to, and generally bad. This is a distraction from the fact that we currently have the highest incarceration rate in the world. This is a distraction from the horrible conditions we keep prisoners in. This is a distraction from the fact that we'll be deep in debt to secure a education and essentially slaves as the way to live comfortably is to get a education to get a good paying job.
We need a organized movement of all American people to truly change things. Other wise we squabble amongst ourselves, blind to the true problems of the country.
