How do you think young Madara and Hashirama started a conflict?

Some say it's probably,because there was a love triangle between Madara,Hashirama and Mito,but I don't see that happening...So,what do you think?

Originally it seemed possible, but now after these flash backs it just doesn't seem that there was some kind of love triangle between Mito, Hashi and Madara. I mean I think Madara was too preoccupied on his own clan and his goals to fight with Hashirama over some girl xD
Although it would of been interesting.. a love triangle involving members from arguably the 3 best clans ^_^
