Considering that he would have been raised by an Hokage and Uzumaki.

He would be far more skilled than his generation proceeds him.

seriously haku woulda killed him,but lets say he survives that,he woulda have CORS as his strongest jutsu wihich is an incredible attack, sensing, clones, uzumaki seals, boss summons, ma/pa and the techs they come along with, yea,so he would be mid kage level

Though kurama is an added bonus but I think even without him Naruto would have bean a very powerful shinobi. He would have learned advanced techniques from his father, jiraya and most importantly the sealing jutsus which are very powerful and very handy in battle. He would easily be a Kage level shonobi without Kurama as Shaz said..

He would be powerful, but nowhere near his current level. He would still be Ashura's descendant and reincarnation and he would still possess a very large chakra pool. I would say that he would still be an candidate to become Hokage, but nowhere near as early.

Naruto would have have learn early and the right way. Sines it hinted in the Manga that Naruto was not exposed to proper teaching.

No he was in the academy like everyone else, in other words he gained the same education as everyone else. (Only others, like Sasuke and Ino were intelligent enough to learn from it.) Naruto however, learns the same way I assume Kishimoto himself learns things. By feeling it instead of reading it.

Even in Canon the only reason why they survived Haku was because Haku had no Intention of killing them:hmm:

He'd still be the main character... every time Kurama saved him, it was "plot." He'd always be able to scrape by fights that he doesn't deserve to win, just as every other character does. I don't see why people view things in terms of "either Naruto will be saved by Kurama like he was in canon, or he will die." That's too narrow of a mindset.

But half of his large chakra is thanks to kurama's mixing with his. So without kurama there is no telling how much he would have.

It was mixed with Naruto at birth, moreso because Kurama was slipping out.
Though as evidenced by Boruto and Clone2.0 and their whiskers, it'd still get down to him.

I think Naruto would have been drastically different.
He wouldn't have driven himself to learn shadow clones because
he'd have no reason to, as he'd had already learned the basic
[weak] clones in the academy. Thus never being driven to steal
the scroll and learn of a more advanced clone.

Ultimately the best his parents have to offer are FTG, sealing techs, nature infinity
rasengan, taijustu and chakra chains. Though chakra chains seem OP af considering Kushina
had gotten sealed into Naruto while on the verge of death, yet was still capable
of holding down 50% Kurama with the little chakra she was working with.

Naruto was also the worst of the academy, thus why he got tied with the best Sasuke,
assuming he doesn't get tied with the best- he doesn't get Kakashi as a teacher meaning
no Haku and no Zabuza. -aka a dead Sasuke vs Haku, because his partner would
forcibly have to be someone else with a low ranking such as Naruto, minus a beast
to save the day.

Assuming Sasuke's storyline is still the same with dead Uchiha bodies lying around.

Minato and Jiraiya can both use shadow clones. They won't teach Naruto because?

For the record, even if Naruto didn't have Kurama at the start of the story, he IS the best candidate in Konoha to receive Kurama if anything ever happened to Kushina in the future. So it's possible he'd end up with Kurama, anyway. I know this doesn't exactly advance the premise of the thread, just an observation.

I think the hardships Naruto dealt with in the story helped him relate to Kurama, which ended up being the key to "mastering" Kurama's power. If Naruto had grown up with a happier life, would he still have been "Naruto" and found a way to understand Kurama?

As the title ^

I honestly think Naruto would be a true Uzumaki if he never had Kurama. Cause his parents would be alive. His mother would be able to teach him some Uzumaki seals. He would pick up his father's fighting style to. If Jiriyia was to come around Naruto would learn Sage mode. He would easily be a Kage level shonobi without Kurama.

I agree. EASILY Kage level, IF he mastered all the things you mentioned.

His mother Kushina would have teach Him Uzumaki jutsu and His father would have teach Him His jutsu if they were alive and Minato as His father would have kill anyone who would have threaten Naruto’s life thats a big difference. Sasuke and the other kids were train by their family with the exception of Sakura whoa no clan. Did you forget that the Manga said Naruto’s education was neglected because He was an orphan and Kurama jail keeper and that made Him hated by many.
