[Discussion] How do you think Fairy tail could've went in it's plot?

I think towards the last arc, fairy tail became dull. I think the director could've improved the romantic interactions between Natsu and lucy, it felt like they simply connected with each other in the end somehow. I feel the manga became very illogical towards the and, powerful characters like Acnologia were beaten without much impact.

Makarov should’ve stayed dead. They killed him and brought him back on like at least 3 separate occassions. He should have died and Laxsus should have became guildmaster.

Some of the dragons like sting or rogue or the poison guy (forget his name) should have died.

Both fights with Zeref and Acknowledga were very underwhelming. I mean Base Natsu beat Zeref the White Mage?.....really?

Natsu should have become a dragon like Acknowledga and fought it out that way. With maybe Lucy bringing him back to his human side and maybe confessing their feelings fo each other.

But it’s fairy tail so I wasn’t exactly surprised how it turned out. Just disappointed
